Tour departs from Portimao

Portimao has been developed as a touristic destination, in great measure because of the success of its famous Praia da Rocha Beach, one of of the most beautiful beaches of Portugal. The marina is located in the outfall of the river, being part of a nice area with restaurants, shops and a mall.

Algarve is composed by the most southern area of Portugal and it’s known as a location with great atmospheric conditions, good beaches, diversified leisure spaces and beautiful green areas, mountains and an enchanting seabed.

Day 1. PORTIMAO

Arrival to Portimao

HALF DAY EXCURSION TO SILVES AND MONCHIQUE

Drive to the East to visit the town of Silves with remains of the castle, Roman bridge and the cathedral. Then to the north to visit the rustic Monchique village with the Franciscan Monastery and the Parish church.

Day 2. PORTIMAO

HALF DAY EXCURSION TO LAGOS AND SAGRES

Drive to the nearby town of Lagos with the Marina, the harbour, the Town Hall and the church of Santo Antonio. Continue to Vila do Bispo, Cape Saint Vincent, the lighhouse and Sagres with the walls and the church of our Lady of Graça.

Day 3. PORTIMAO

FULL DAY EXCURSION TO TAVIRA AND FARO

Drive through the east coast of the Algarve to the village of Tavira a labyrinth of pretty streets. Then we continue to Faro city with the Roman walls, the cathedral and the church of Nossa Senhora do Carmo.
