The hotel is housed in an imposing mansion of neo-Gothic inspiration, which was built by the pre-modernist architect, Josep Vilaseca. The façade of the building, one of the most artistic and aesthetically significant of the city, strikes for its bright polychromy, resulting from the combination of various materials, such as brickwork, stone, ceramic and wrought iron.

It is located in the heart of the emblematic Paseo de Gracia, the most elegant shopping street in Barcelona.
