Arrival to Bilbao.
Bilbao City Tour
Visit the old city center located on the right bank of the river Nervión, the Cathedral of Santiago with beautiful gothic cloister, the Plaza Nueva and the incredible Guggenheim museum, designed by the north American architect Frank O. Gehry and built on a 32.500 m2 site in the city center. The building itself is an extraordinary combination of interconnecting shapes. Orthogonal blocks in limestone contrast with curved and bent forms covered in titanium.
Day 2
Vitoria
Drive to Elciego with stop in Vitoria.
Vitoria City Tour
This city is the site of the Basque Government. Visit the Church of San Miguel with the White Virgin, the Santa Maria gothic Cathedral declared a Historic-Artistic Monument, the Palace of Ajuria Enea, the Urbina Zárate Palace, the old quarter with its ancient streets and the Casa del Cordón.
Marqués de Riscal Wine Cellar
It was Don Camilo Hurtado de Amézaga, Marqués de Riscal de Alegre, who in 1860, through his revolutionary ideas, put his mark on the Spanish wine historical map. His innovative methods imported from Bordeaux, much criticised at that time, brought a new way of understanding and elaborating our best wines. Following in the innovative wake of the Bordeaux wines, Marqués de Riscal built the first Spanish cellar of the Modern Age. Located in the heart of Rioja, in Elciego.
Day 3
Elciego
Full Day excursion to Haro and Briones
Haro. the historical foundation of Haro village was around X century. In 117, it was donated by Alfonso VI of Castilla to Diego Lopez, Lord of Vizcaya, for his support in the war against Aragonese king. The Basilica de Nuestra Señora de la Vega, the Saint Thomas church, the Palace de Bendaña, los Condestables Palace, the Bezaras Palace, the Tejada Palace and the Palace of San Felices, Earls of Haro.
Paternina Wine Cellars
Paternina is a Spanish company which leads the field in the vinification, aging, and bottling of Rioja, Sherry and Ribera del Duero wines. The company is internationally renowned for its products and is growing steadily thanks to its sound technical, commercial and financial foundations and the assured quality of its products. Federico Paternina Josué founded Bodegas Paternina as a company in 1896 in Ollauri, in the Rioja Alta region.
The village of Briones with the Dinastia Vivanco Wine Cellar and Wine Museum. The origins of the winemaking vocation of the Vivanco family date back to the year 1915, to the winemaking district of the village of Alberite, La Rioja, where Pedro Vivanco Gonzalez started to make wine for family use from his vineyards. In 1940 he bought a small wine cellar business in the same village. The Museum of the Culture of Wine of the Dinastía Vivanco Foundation offers a stroll through the history and culture of wine, a product associated with mythology and religion.
Day 4
Elciego
Full Day excursion to Laguardia and Abalos
Laguardia, the whole urban centre of the town is enclosed by walls, built at the beginning of the 13th century and the city centre constitutes an interesting historic and artistic site. The church of San Juan, a Romanesque building and the church of Santa María de los Reyes. As we walk we should stop in any of its numerous cellars to taste or buy some of the magnificent local wines. The Villa Lucia Wine Thematic Center and Wine Museum is located here, an innovator and surprising Thematic Center designed to enjoy, to savor and to disclose the culture of the most universal drink.
Then we drive to Abalos village to visit the Bodega de la Real Divisa. The wine cellars owe their name to the symbol of the pitcher with white lilies over the arch above the entrance, a symbol connected to the Royal House of Navarre.
The Palace of the Marquess of Legarda is the most visible building in the village of Abalos and was declared a Historical and Artistic Monument. The wine cellar is constructed in stone and it is one the oldest wine cellars of Europe.
Day 5
San Sebastian
Drive to San Sebastián with stop in Pamplona.

Visit the famous running of the bulls city with the City Hall, the Cámara de Comptos, thre Church of San Lorenzo which houses the baroque chapel of the city's patron saint San Fermín, the Palace of Goyeneche, the Cathedral of Santa María la Real and the Palace of Navarre, site of Navarre's government.
Day 6: San Sebastian
San Sebastian. City Tour
Visit the San Sebastian (also known as Donostia) old quarter, the Urgull and Igueldo Mounts, the Cathedral el Buen Pastor built in Neogothic style, the Boulevard, la Concha Bay, the Miramar Palace, la Mota Castle, the church of Santa María and San Vicente, the Victoria Eugenia Theatre, the City Hall and the San Telmo museum with works of Goya, Ribera and el Greco.
