We drive to a gorgeous fishing town located on the coast of Guipuzcoa. The place is well known for its Txakoli (a Basque wine) of unbeatable quality, which gave rise to the Designation of Origin-Getariako Txakolina.
We will vist a Txacoli cellar and taste this special Basque wine. Afterwards a visit will be done to a workroom where anchovies cans are handmade, always starting from fresh season fish which has been cought in the Cantabric sea and which arrives daily to the town's port. Here we will be able to learn about the process of production of this gastronomic piece of jewelery. Anchovy tasting together with other local products such as cod fish.
