An undersea laboratory dedicated to the study of the aging of wine under sea water.
A series of modules with sensors, cameras and security seals will be placed on the seafloor to analyze the aging of wine beneath the sea. The modules known as M.C.A. (Monitoring and Control Aging) will host the product and will communicate to the surface the data real-time.
It is located on the bay waters of Plentzia, within 10 minutes of navigation from the port of the Biscayne village and it is a pioneering initiative in the world. Oenologists, vintners and marine biologists analyze the in?uence of the marine environment on the wines' maturing process. When visiting the cellar by boat, you will be able to discover our underwater world by looking in the screen the images from our diver's camera and afterwards wine tasting.
